In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Under the Snow.”

When I am afraid, I’ll trust in you. This verse has helped me more than anyone could imagine. I learned this bible verse while I was teaching bible drill to a group of children. There’s a story behind the verse. Read on and be amazed.
A lady who worked at a flower shop near Jackson, Mississippi, who was also a teacher of bible drill, was robbed.
A man came into the store, pulled a gun out and shoved it in her face. He beat her up, raped her till she ended up in the hospital with a concussion and several broke bones. All in the name of 150 bucks. When it was all over with she told everybody that God pulled her through the ordeal. She kept repeating this verse over and over till it was all over with.
I can only hope I have that same strength and faith if I was to ever endure something as tragic as this.
